What is SoloTune? SoloTune is a social network that allows users to share their tunes with just their friends or with the world.

What does SoloTune allow the user to do? SoloTune allows the user to upload recorded tunes from their Iphone. It contains two different modes, FunMode and SoloMode. FunMode is just for the user and their friends, while with SoloMode, the user shares with the world. Users can rate other user's tunes. If a user has a high enough rating then they will show up on the front page of the SoloTune website.

How does the SoloTune iPhone app work? The user first opens the app. They then can choose to view the top tunes/newest tunes, view their own tunes that have been uploaded, their own tunes on the device, or record a new tune. When they record a new tune the user must enter in a title, genre, and tags. They then can record their tune. After they finish recording they can save the file or delete it. If they save it, they can then upload it to the SoloTune site to be rated by other users. If they go to view their tunes on the device, they can edit the name, genre, and tags as well as delete and submit the tune. On the iPhone users can share uploaded tunes with friends by sending a text or sending an e-mail. On the website, users can change the name, tags, and genre as well as delete their tunes. They can also share tunes with other platforms such as facebook, twitter, bebo and many more.
